Why spend time writing 5 articles a week and recording 2-3 podcasts as a coach?
Shouldn't I be trying to land new clients?
Shouldn't I be better serving my own?
One of my guys told me on a call this week that my APP episode #29 inspired him to spring up a hill instead of taking it easy It helped him understand that he'd been coasting and to take more intention and fire into his workouts. (Listen HERE)
This then opened up a deep conversation where we totally overhauled our approach and began crafting a new ambitious life and fitness target. No more settling, we are back to STRIVING towards excellence together.
Another one of my fellow athletes who I coach mentioned how they'd fallen into a bit of a rut with motivation and felt defeated going after their multiple goals but then listened to our Tribal Cafe podcast, hosted by myself and
and it turned his perspective around.He loved my idea of 'creativity as problem solving' and began stacking small wins again. A new perspective can change everything!
And yet another one of my athletes praised my new move in writing, saying he loved the shorter and more frequent articles and that he's been gaining a lot more wisdom and applying it into his practices. The people who trust me to guide them enjoy more access to my thoughts, my process, and my heart. That’s what I’m aiming at with all this creative output.
My creativity serves them first because I become a better coach when I'm actively writing and podcasting on what I'm learning, how I'm growing, and the wins I'm seeing in them.
