Learning to become an athlete again as an adult
New Podcast Episode to Inspire the former athlete to reembrace that authentic athletic identity
Good day friends, I’ve got some news.
I’ve recorded and published a new episode of “The Athletic Philosopher Podcast”
This episode was inspired by a Tribal Cafe podcast conversation on assuming our athletic identities. I co-host this once a month podcast with my Tribal Training co-coach Ryan Dreyer where we talk about issues that are alive with our athletes. We dove deep into the meaning of living your authentic athletic self. Take a listen below.
But my mind didn’t stop there, it kept churning. So I wanted to hit record and speak directly to the person, who like me, grew up playing sports seriously but gave them up as an adult.
There are so many youth athletes who we told to give up their athletic dreams and they drift without meaning as adults. I explored why this matters and how people can rediscover that identity and let it reemerge authentically.
If you were an athlete growing up but quit training and competing as an adult because the world told you to focus on 'more serious things' this one is for YOU.
To rediscover your aim, purpose, and fill your life with deep meaning you need to restablish your authentic athletic identity to stop from the aimless drifitng that leaves you feeling like you have more to give.
Take a listen, or watch, using the links below and let me know in the comments or with a DM if you’ve felt the sting of giving up that identity and how you are working, or have worked, to reestablish it authetically as an adult.
If you desire this transformation but don’t know how, or where to start, send me a message using the button below and lets chat about getting that true identity of yours back in real life.
