Happy Saturday Friends!
I hope you’re off adventuring, getting after it, and training hard this weekend
There’s a few things I’ve been working on I want to share with you.
Don’t worry, I won’t keep you long, just a quick update.
Sharing is how we keep winning together team!
Free Resources Page
I’ve created a new page here on substack to share. Over the years I’ve created a few digital products aimed at shifting mindsets on the meaning of sport and how to practice it.
Last week I launched the page with a brand new digital product aimed at sporty teens and their sporty parents: YOUR ATHLETIC RESUME
It’s a short reflection exercise that gets you writing about a character building moment in sports with confidence to share and promote yourself. It’s a way to see how your athletic efforts are truly building you into a better version of yourself
I’ll be updating the page over the next few weeks and adding old and new products throughout the year.
Head over and check them out, always FREE too: Click HERE
Chicagoland Meetup
This one goes out to any Chicagoland resident who’s looking to meet like minded people around sports, training, and growing through challenge.
Memorial Day Weekend I’m hosting a sunrise meetup on the shores of Lake Michigan with coffee, breathwork, barefoot sprints, a cold plunge, and space to make connections and have conversations.
If you’re interested in attending use the button below and send me a message and I’ll give you all the specific details.
Can’t wait to meet a few of you in person and get after it together!
The Athletic Philosopher Podcast
I’ve got a confession to make, I haven’t been very good at sharing my podcast episodes like I said I would a few months ago.
That’s on me team, apologies.
Yesterday I recorded episode #36 with fellow runner, writer, and substacker
.He’s a creative writing prof who just published a book on running for romantics and we went deep into his ideals for running and why it’s such a meaningful activity in searching for truth and happiness.
Check it out along with the other episodes I’ve recorded in the past few months, lots of good topics and a few sharp interviews in there as well.
If you enjoy reading my articles, you’ll love the podcast. I’m a better speaker and conversationalist than writer a lot of the times!
